About the Author
Garth Jones, System Center Enterprise Client Manager MVP, is chief architect at Enhansoft, an Ottawa-based company that develops products and services to extend the value of System Center Configuration Manager. Garth started working with the product in 1996, when it was known as SMS. He is the founder of the Ottawa Windows Server User Group and its associated study group. In addition to being an active participant in Microsoft’s forums, Garth also participates on OWSUG.ca, SMSug.ca, FAQshop.com, and myITForum.com. He has presented at OWSUG, MMS, EnergizeIT, ITProTeach, and Techdays. Garth also creates webcasts for SMSUG.ca and myITForum.com.

Dan Toll, a System Center Configuration Manager administrator, has worked with different versions of the product starting with SMS 2003. Dan specializes in OS deployment for workstations and servers using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) with ConfigMgr, as well as Configuration Manager reporting. In his current job, Dan is the SME for Configuration Manager as well as the client computing environment, which includes deployment, functionality, and maintenance of systems; their operating systems; applications; patching compliancy; and reporting.

Rock Star Reporting

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM / ConfigMgr) is a robust and complex tool used by SysAdmins to manage systems in their organizations. Similarly, working with reports, creating reports, and generating reports with ConfigMgr can become a complex task and challenging.

We all know that the built-in reports are not the best and often don’t yield the results we want to achieve. To get around some of the limitations, you either need to create your own reports or use third party solutions such as the wonderful reports from Enhansoft which are easy to install, configure, and to use. Well, Garth Jones, the owner of Enhansoft has released an awesome book to help clear the mystery of reports and make it super simple for anyone to follow the step-by-step instructions with the intelligently laid out chapters.

Whether you’re a beginner and want to learn how to create and work with ConfigMgr reports, or an expert who want to improve your reporting skills and rock it to the next level, this book is for you – I highly recommend it.

Excellent Resource to Learn and become expert in SCCM SSRS Reporting

I read SCCM guru Garth Jone’s ( + co-authors Dan Toll and Kerrie Meyler) new book on SCCM reporting. I loved the approach they took in the book “System Center Configuration Manager Reporting Unleashed” to explained the complex things like SCCM data collection, State messages, Status Messages, Report Design and RBA based reports. They explained each topics in a very simple and easy way to understand. This is done via real world explanation of each SCCM concept, sample SQL queries and result screen shots. This is an excellent approach to teach SCCM reporting from beginner to expert level. I would highly recommend this book for all IT Pros who wanted to learn more about SCCM reporting and wanted to become expert in creating custom SCCM reports.

Must have book to get expertise on Configmgr Reporting

I have created a lot of SQL Queries, SSRS Reports on my blog (...) and I have never explained, how you can create SSRS reports on your own. I know that, it is not easy to explain in blog post about the SQL/SSRS Reports. There are lot of books released on System Center Configuration Manager, but there is nothing specifically for Reporting (in-depth) until now. Even though this book is listed for ConfigMgr Current Branch, everything within it also applies to earlier versions too.

This book was written by Well-known Configuration Manager MVP Garth Jones and his export Co-authors Dan Toll and Kerrie Meyler.

The Unleashed book written by Experts is really fantastic and it has all the content what is needed for you to get complete knowledge on Configuration Reporting, RBA ,SQL views ,SSRS Report Builder and lot more.

Liked the characters, plot uncomplicated

Easy breezy summer read. I liked the supporting characters. The main character is a bit naive and silly, but I think this is British humor. It's a nice break from real life. I recommend it. But I think that I personally like a more complicated plot line a characters that are more developed.

Want a story to lift your mood and make you smile, then look no further.

White lies tells the story of single girl Natalie Flemming as she embarks on her quest to meet her Mr Right.

I loved this story, I read it in a day and found myself laughing out loud at some of Natalie's lies.
Natalie is a wonderfully bubbly character and I liked her instantly,
By the end of the book, she felt like a best friend, I could imagine us drinking wine and discussing Johnny Depp, so it was no surprise that I became invested in her happiness and wanted her to meet her longed for Mr Right.
I have to admit, if I met Oliver I would be tempted to tell a few white lies to keep a guy like that too.
There's no harm in the odd white lie, but lying in general like that bitch Angelica isn't right, I really despised that character.

As a single girl, I found this to be a very relatable read, because let's face it, we all over think things and Natalie is no different.

A wonderful witty read that will bring romance to every day.

Cute, funny romance

I loved this book so much. The characters were great and I had a lot of LOL moments. My favorite was the "battle over the file". I was laughing so hard I had milk coming out of my nose. Someone said she was too flighty and I don't agree. She was kind and funny and smart. She just needed a little more confidence and she finally "got it". She had plenty of imagination for sure. LOL
